Speaking of....

I notice kinja has changed how it builds URLs of comments on the main pages. Maybe that change just came today?

It use to be, the URL for a comment contained the first 60 or so characters of the comment, plus a number. Now, it’s just a number. That sucks, because it enables stealth edits that completely pivot away from their original content with no record.

The subblogs don’t seem to have changed (oppo, truck yeah, etc), but the main pages have. I wonder why?

They apparently underestimated the strength requirements! That thing (was) big, once you have that much surface area the forces get a lot stronger.
